The remodeling/rennovations continue!!

What a weekend... and all I can say is, Dave & I are so blessed to have such GREAT families. Thank you guys so much for all your hard work and effort... without you guys we would not have progressed this far in our big project!

And secondly I would like to shout out to my HUBBY, who honestly is the most amazing and dedicated and MULTI talented guy I know. I am so blessed to have him. I love him so much. Moving on...

It has been a while since I posted anything, so I decided I'd give a little update.
Things have been pretty busy for us! We decided that it was time to sell the condo, and buy a home. So right now we are in the process of fixing up the condo so that we can get as much money as possible out of it-- especially in this market right now. So last weekend we painted the kitchen, front room, stairways, & hallways... what a huge freaking job! I truly thought we'd be able to get the whole place painted in a weekend, after all it's only 1000 square feet... I was sorely mistaken, and realized, painting is a lot of work! New carpet is being installed in a week, so we have to finish painting asap. Any one want to work for free? Come on over and help paint!! haha. Last night we started to rip out the linoleum in the kitchen and baths... oh my goodness... anyone who has ever ripped out linoleum before knows what I am talking about when I say it's a real pain in the butt! The condo is only 10 years old, but we thought we'd upgrade it, hoping to sell it for a bit more. I picked out tile, and I really like it, and it was a great price. It was about 450 for all of it. Thanks to my Dad & wife Becki, they will be helping us to install that this weekend.
All in all, I am really excited for our new adventure, finding a house and selling the place I've called home now for over 4 years. I'm going to miss it! I was so proud of myself for buying it-- I was only 20 at the time, and had no help from parents or anyone to purchase it, so I thought it was a great accomplishment to buy my own condo when I was so young. I became a real adult there, and have had so many wonderful memories with Dave there. We have really loved living there, and I loved living there alone for the years I was there alone. But, it's time to move on!
We've looked at a few houses... and it's a lot more difficult than I realized to find a home. I am so picky. But, we've found a few that we are interested in, and every time we go through them and we count the bedrooms, I remind Dave that each of those rooms could be a BABY ROOM! He just rolls his eyes and pretends like he can't hear me. But come on, why else would we buy a house with extra rooms... eventually they will be baby rooms right? haha. Hopefully sometime in the next year or so we'll start thinking about starting a family. It might take a little convincing with Dave-- but we have some catching up to do! Both of his sisters already have 2 kids each, and they are getting older and older all the time.

Here is a picture of our townhouse/condo... it truly will be missed!

I'll post some pictures of the remodel once we are finished.
